CCA Global Partners, the parent company of Carpet One Floor & Home, is set to host the 2008 Alan Greenberg Golf Tournament on Sept. 25 at the Marriott's Evergreen Conference Resort in Stone Mountain, Ga. A fund-raising event for the non-profit Floor Covering Industry Foundation, the annual tournament has raised more than $600,000 for the foundation, including a record $160,000 last year.
“It’s a great honor to host the Alan Greenberg Charity Tournament on many levels,” said Howard Brodsky, co-founder, chairman and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. “This tournament is a wonderful opportunity for all of us in the floor covering industry to come together to help support the FCIF and our friends and colleagues.”
The tournament was started five years ago by CCA Global co-founders Howard Brodsky and the late Alan Greenberg. The tournament was renamed in Alan Greenberg’s honor last year. The FCIF aims to help people in the industry who have suffered extreme financial hardship due to catastrophic illness, severe disabilities and other life-altering situations.
“This annual event is a huge resource for our organization, bringing together industry leaders and friends that want to support those in our community that experiencing a hardship,” said Keith S. Campbell, chairman of the FCIF. “The sponsorship greatly assists in our ability to serve the many needs of our growing industry.”
