Ceramic prices to jump as much as 10 percent with Mohawk’s latest increases

Mohawk said it will raise prices 5 percent on laminate and from 4 to 10 percent on ceramic products beginning Sept. 8. The company noted it recently sent out a letter announcing the planned increases to dealers.

“Our increase reflects higher prices for raw materials, transportation, and energy,” said Bob Leahy, senior vp hard surfaces.
