As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, Hanover, Pa.-based distributor ConestogaTile plans to host Tile Concepts 2008, a free, one-day event featuring installation demonstrations, business seminars and a product showcase. The meeting is set for Oct. 16 in historic Gettysburg, Pa.

Speakers are set to include Jon Trivers, presenting "Take Charge: Protect the Present and Invest in the Future Fully"; T. Scott Gross with "Positively Outrageous Service," offering tips on keeping customers coming back with excellent service; Howard Pryor, covering "LEED Certification with Ceramic Tile"; and a joint presentation from the National Tile Contractors Association and the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation on "ANSI Standards -- Large Format Tile Installations."
Additionally, more than 40 manufacturers are set to showcase their latest products. Exhibiting companies will include Laticrete, Schluter Systems, Fin-Pan and Aqua Mix.
