Shaw’s Anso and Zeftron fiber divisions have earned third-party Cradle to Cradle Silver certification from McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry. The designation ensures that all Anso and Zeftron products are made using Green materials, offer easy recycling and showcase “energy efficiency and social responsibility,” Shaw said.

“This certification simply reinforces our message about the environmental preference of our carpets,” noted Mike Leary, Shaw Fibers’ director of sales and marketing.

Shaw’s Anso nylon can be recycled into new fiber repeatedly. Additionally, the company’s Zeftron commercial fiber is easily recyclable through the company’s 6ix Again program and offers a minimum 25 percent recycled content, Shaw noted.
