Daltile has launched DaltileGreenworks, an extension of Mohawk’s Greenworks program that outlines the brand’s eco-friendly philosophies and operating practices to reduce its environmental impact, according to the company.

The program has been designed to serve as a resource to dealers and builders researching eco-friendly attributes for the brand’s manufactured products, as well as important data necessary for achieving green credits and certifications, such as LEED®, for their projects.

“We believe that the best design includes consideration for the environment. There’s no need to compromise extraordinary interior design in order to protect the remarkable designs that nature has provided as our inspiration,” said Lori Kirk-Rolley, Daltile’s marketing director.

Daltile also noted that its Greenworks program includes changes to the company’s processes, as well as its products — reducing the brand’s environmental impact and improving the efficiency in which raw materials are used.
