The National Wood Flooring Association has opened registration for its 24th annual Wood Flooring Expo and Education Conference, set for April 28 through May 1, 2009 in Long Beach, Calif. The meeting will feature more than 500 manufacturers showcasing their latest products, machinery, tools and services. The show will also include on-site demonstrations and the yearly judging of the Wood Floor of the Year Awards.
Three general sessions are scheduled: "Getting Your Business to Work For You" on Wednesday, April 29; "How to Capitalize on a Reviving Market," on Thursday, April 30; and a session on "Advertising and Marketing" set for Friday, May 1.
NWFA members can attend the Wood Flooring Expo free of charge with advance registration. Nonmembers can register in advance for $25. For members, the cost for the full conference is $350 for registrations received by March 27 and $400 after that date. For nonmembers, the cost is $550 and $600 respectively.
